Kuranda Wildlife Experience” is a package combining 3 outstanding wildlife attractions. This package includes entry to Kuranda Koala Gardens, Birdworld Kuranda & The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary. See lots of Aussie animals at Kuranda Koala Gardens. There’s an opportunity to meet kangaroos and wallabies in a free-range enclosure. See the rare Greater Bilby, the Northern Bettong, Mahogany Glider and more in the new ‘Nocturnal Wonders’ exhibit. Visitors can also view Wombats, Quokkas, freshwater crocodiles, pythons, frogs and lizards. Enjoy the opportunity for a koala holding photo for an extra cost (includes a souvenir digital photo) Birdworld Kuranda has birds from the vanishing rainforests of the world, including some of Australia’s most precious and beautiful birds. There are brilliant Amazonian macaws, endangered, stately cassowary birds, cheeky rainbow lorikeets, galahs and Australia’s favourite cockatoos. Naturally landscaped with waterfalls, lakes, and exotic & native plants, Birdworld Kuranda replicates the natural habitats of almost 60 species and over 350 birds that roam this unique exhibit. The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is the largest live butterfly exhibit in Australia – in an all-weather quality wildlife experience right in the heart of Kuranda. It is home to over 1500 magnificent tropical butterflies. All butterflies are local rainforest species, hand-reared on the premises. Guided tours through the aviary & caterpillar breeding area are available at no extra cost.
