Details

This short yet exciting trip takes in 2 great islands. At South Sea Island, make the most of the complimentary watersports equipment or book an optional introductory diving lesson. The next day, travel to and stay at Barefoot Kuata Island Resort on Kuata Island and get up close and personal with reef sharks in their natural environment. Don’t panic, they are pretty docile Fijian sharks and you will have a guide with you for the duration. This scenic resort at the start of the Yasawa Islands, is surrounded by impressive volcanic peaks and has a great summit hike if you are keen!  

Itinerary

Day 1
Depart from Port Denarau to South Sea Island at 8.45am, 10am or 12.15pm and enjoy the day at South Sea Island utilising the complimentary water sports equipment. Accomodation: South Sea Island

Day 2
On day 2 head to Kuata Island at 8.45am, arriving there at 10.30am with the rest of the day free to roam the resort and surrounding peaks. Accomodation: Barefoot Kuata Island Resort

Day 3
Start the day with your snorkel with reef sharks experience this morning before departing for Port Denarau at 4.05pm, arriving at the port at 6.00pm.

Extras

  • Meals are NOT included in the accommodation price and must be paid directly at each of the resorts upon check-in (in Fijian dollars). Prices are determined by the resorts and may be subject to price increases as each Resort reserves the right to change the cost of their compulsory meal packages (not common but can happen). Meals are normally served at specific times of the day e.g., breakfast 8am – 9am, providing an opportunity for you to meet fellow travellers. Meal plans commence from arrival at your resort. You will generally arrive at your resort in time for lunch, therefore day one will include Lunch and Dinner. On the day of your departure from each resort, only Breakfast will be included. Should your resort connection not depart for your next destination until after lunch and you wish to have lunch while waiting this will be at your own cost. If you have not already advised us, we recommend that you notify your resort as soon as you arrive if you have any dietary requirements.
