Nadi or Denarau Marina
The Sawa-I-Lau Caves, manta ray swimming, reef shark snorkelling, a sunset tube cruise or marine conservation experience, and a full day at South Sea Island with complimentary drinks from 9:45am to 4pm (yes, that includes beer).
Your last stop is South Sea Island in the Mamanucas, where you get full use of all complimentary watersports and the semi-submarine, plus free drinks all day. Not a bad way to end a trip.
The Coconut Cruiser hits all the Yasawa highlights without stretching the itinerary thin. Seven days feels like exactly the right amount of time.
Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking and confirmed by the reservations team. Your specific resort in each region is based on what's available at the time of booking.
Meals are compulsory at each resort and paid directly on arrival in Fijian dollars. They cannot be pre-purchased. Dietary requirements must be advised at the time of booking.
As manta rays and reef sharks are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed. If poor weather causes a cancellation of either experience, a substitute snorkelling safari will be provided.
Coach transfers must be booked in advance. There is one return coach to Wailoaloa and Nadi Airport, departing Denarau at approximately 6:15pm. Miss it and transport is at your own cost.
Depart Port Denarau and head north on the Yasawa Flyer to the Blue Lagoon Region. You'll be at either Blue Lagoon Beach Resort or Boathouse Nanuya / Nanuya Island Resort for two nights. Today is a free day to settle in and get acquainted with the fact that this is now your life.
Still in the Blue Lagoon Region. Today's activity is the Sawa-I-Lau Caves trip. You depart the resort at 9am and are back by midday (11:30am at Boathouse Nanuya). The cave involves a short underwater swim into a surreal underground cavern. Worth every second of the mild adrenaline.
A leisurely morning, then transfer south to the Mantaray Region for two nights at either Mantaray Island Resort or Barefoot Manta Island Resort. This evening, you've got your first activity: the Sunset Tube Cruise at Mantaray (daily, kicks off at 5pm) or the Marine Conservation Experience at Barefoot Manta (coral talk, coral planting and a guided snorkel).
From May to October, today you swim with manta rays. Outside those months, it's a guided snorkelling trip by boat. Either way you're in the water at one of the best reef systems in the Yasawas. Manta rays and sharks are wild animals, so sightings aren't guaranteed, but this region is one of the most consistent spots in Fiji.
After a relaxed morning, board the Yasawa Flyer mid-afternoon and head to the southernmost part of the Yasawa Islands. You'll be at either Barefoot Kuata Island Resort or Octopus Resort. This afternoon is yours to explore the dramatic volcanic landscape around the resort.
Morning activity at your Gateway Region resort: guided snorkel with reef sharks or a marine biology tour (Barefoot Kuata), or a guided mountain hike, night snorkel, or one of several other options at Octopus Resort. Then in the afternoon, board the Yasawa Flyer bound for South Sea Island in the Mamanucas.
Full access to all complimentary activities at South Sea Island, including the semi-submarine, kayaking and paddleboarding. Drinks are included from 9:45am to 4pm (local beer, house wine and soft drinks). Transfer back to Port Denarau at 10:45am, 4pm or 5:30pm.
The Yasawa Flyer departs Port Denarau Marina daily at 8:30am. Complimentary coach transfers to Port Denarau are provided from most hotels and resorts in Nadi, Denarau and Wailoaloa Bay, as well as Nadi Airport. These must be booked in advance.
On return, there is one coach back to Wailoaloa area hotels and Nadi Airport, departing Denarau at approximately 6:15pm. Be at your pick-up point at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
Meal plans are compulsory and cannot be pre-purchased. Your plan starts from arrival at your first resort (typically lunch on Day 1). On departure days, breakfast only is included. Lunch on departure day is at your own cost if your transfer leaves after midday.
Meal prices are valid for travel 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 and are subject to change by the resorts. All meal prices are net non-commissionable.
