Day 2 - Free Day Sydney/Overnight Sydney
Check into your central hostel for 3 nights, drop your bags and get out to explore! Of course, your first stop is the Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour, but don't forget about iconic Bondi Beach, an abundance of museums, the stunning views from the Rocks and way more. Optional tours include a trip to Taronga Zoo, or be a bit greedy and pick up one of our iVenture cards to do the lot.
Day 3 - 1 Day Blue Mountains Tour/Overnight Sydney
Today you'll be escaping the hustle and bustle of Sydney city and exploring some iconic Australian scenery. Combine a visit to an award-winning wildlife park with koalas and kangaroos, a relaxing lunch, fun guides and you have a memorable day out with amazing photos. Today you'll visit the Blue Mountains National Park, the Featherdale Wildlife Park, enjoy stunning views of the Three Sisters and relax over a picnic style lunch, stuffed full of local produce.
Day 4 - Free Day Sydney /Overnight Sydney
Today is your final free day to explore all that Sydney and its surroundings has to offer. Check out the zoo, head to one of the many gardens by the bay or ask us how you can take a day trip to the iconic Hunter Valley to explore rolling hills and boutique wineries.
Day 5 - Overnight bus from Sydney to Spot X
No time for sleep-ins, this is your last day! If you're after some adventure, why not opt for sightseeing with a twist as you skydive over 14,000 complete with stunning views? For a tamer morning, why not kick back with a coffee in one of the city's many leafy parks and soak in some sunshine. Later tonight, hop on your overnight bus to Spot X where you'll spend the next two days learning to surf like the pros.
Day 6 - 2 day/2 night Surf Camp - Overnight Spot X
Get off the beaten track and head to the secret surf location of 'Spot X' where you can experience stunning coastline, good times and discover what the Aussie way of life is all about. Today is an early start as you head out for your first surf lesson! With spectacular views, epic waves and good mates, what's not to love.
Day 7 - 2 day/2 night Surf Camp - Overnight Spot X
Welcome to your second day at laid-back Spot X. Head out for another surf lesson and spend the rest of the day shredding waves or working on your tan. Tonight you'll spend another night around the campfire with some pretty awesome coastal views.
Day 8 - Bus to Byron Bay/Overnight Byron Bay
Today you're leaving Spot X! But don't cry just yet, you're off to even more stunning coastal scenery at the iconic seaside hub of Byron Bay. Check into your hostel for 2 nights and head out to explore!
Day 9 - Nimbin Day Tour/Overnight Byron Bay
Today you're off for a real local experience - hippy central Nimbin. This tour is all about venturing into village vibes so bring out the hippie colours to explore Nimbin and the incredible surrounding Byron Bay hinterland. Spend the morning meeting dreadlocked locals and exploring the colourful street before a fun-filled afternoon of waterfall hopping. This afternoon, head back to Byron Bay for a well-deserved beer on the beach.
Day 10 - Bus to Surfers Paradise/Overnight Surfers Paradise
Wave goodbye to Byron as today you make your way to Surfers Paradise on the stunning Gold Coast. Check into your central hostel for 2 nights before heading out to explore the town. We're talking stunning beaches, towering skyscrapers and some of the country's best nightlife.
Day 11 - Surfers Paradise - Free day
Today you have a full day to explore Surfers. This could be your perfect opportunity to hit the waves and put your new found surfing skills to the test. Otherwise, there are heaps of local shops to explore, secluded spots to work on your tan or hipster cafes with the best views in town.
Day 12 - Bus to Brisbane/Overnight Brisbane
Pack your stuff, you're off to Brisbane today. Check into your lively hostel where you'll be staying for 2 nights then head out to explore. Brisbane is affectionately called BrisVegas by the locals and you'll soon find out why. It's the perfect mix of relaxed summer vibes meet bit city chic. Head out to Queen Street Wall, explore South Bank or cycle through Newfarm Park. Tonight, what better way to get acquainted with the city then heading out for a big night in Fortitude Valley.
Day 13 - Free Day Brisbane /Overnight Brisbane
Today is yours free to explore sunny Brisbane. Head to Southbank and check out the waterfront galleries or ask our travel gurus how to upgrade to a tour of the stunning Moreton Island! tonight, why not hit the town?
Day 14 - Bus to Noosa/Overnight Noosa
Wave goodbye to Brissy and hello to the darling of the Sunshine Coast, Noosa! Check into your hostel for 2 nights then treat yourself to a drink at one of the many cafes that boast stunning coastal views. The best way to experience Noosa is to kick back and go with the flow. We're talking lazy afternoon drinks, sunset beach walking and all the other good stuff.
Day 15 - Free Day Noosa /Overnight Noosa
Today is yours free to explore Noosa - the darling of the Sunshine Coast! Ask our team how you can upgrade to a Noosa Everglades Kayaking tour - one of only two Everglade ecosystems in the world! Tonight is yours free to relax.
Day 16 - Bus to Rainbow Beach/Overnight Rainbow Beach
Check out of your hostel and make your way to Rainbow Beach. Check into your hostel and get yourself comfortable with the relaxed pace of life here.
Day 17 - Dolphin Experience/Safety briefing for Fraser Island at 4pm/Overnight Rainbow Beach
This morning you will board your Rainbow Beach dolphin at 6:30 from your hostel. On arrival, visitors are welcome to join the volunteers in the water and get to know these beautiful mammals with a small group of people in the water at any one time. Fish for the feeding is available on site. Dolphin feeding does mean getting wet, at least up to your knees...so come prepared! This afternoon, you will attend your compulsory safety briefing to prepare you for your next couple of days driving 4x4s across stunning Fraser Island!
Day 18 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Rise and shine, at 9.30am you depart for Fraser Island! Drive approx 10 minutes to the barge (ferry) and board for your 10-minute barge crossing. Once you have arrived on the world's biggest sand island, you then drive for 1 hour to the Eurong resort along 75 Mile beach - Fraser Island's own highway with speed limits! From here is when the big adventure begins as you drive to the famous Lake McKenzie - arguably the most popular and picturesque highlight of Fraser! Here, stop for some lunch, and for some quality time to have a play in the amazingly clear waters with your new found friends! Around 3pm you drive up the beach to your campsite, for an early dinner and some well-deserved drinks and fun!
Day 19 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Get up in the morning for a quick breakfast before you begin your busiest day on Fraser Island. First, head off to see Eli Creek, a beautifully clear creek perfect for a relaxing swim. Travelling north you then stop at Maheno shipwreck for some photos and short history lesson about this famous Fraser Island icon. Shortly after, travel up to Indian Head, Fraser Island's highest point. From here you may be lucky enough to see whales and sharks in the ocean, before you travel to Champagne pools for a dip! In the afternoon, travel back to camp for dinner and drinks.
Day 20 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour - Overnight Rainbow Beach
Start with breakfast, then drive to the beginning of the Lake Wabby walk, where you walk through the sand dunes to this tropical paradise! Lunch follows your trip to Lake Wabby, before you begin your drive down the beach heading back to the barge. Once back on the mainland, head back to the 4WD shed where you unpack and quickly clean the cars. Tonight, enjoy a well-deserved rest in Rainbow Beach before checking out in the morning.
Day 21 - Bus to 1770/Overnight 1770
Rise and shine, it's an early start for your hostel checkout. Next, grab some snacks and prepare yourself for another travel day. Today you're heading up to the tropical paradise of 1770. Once you arrive, check into your hostel for 2 nights.
Day 22 - Motorbike Chopper Tour/Overnight 1770
Today get ready for some unique sightseeing! Enjoy 3 full hours driving your very own chopper motorcycle! Don't worry, we'll let you ride the training track first. Once you're feeling confident, hit the roads around Agnes Water, keep your eyes peeled for Kangaroos in the wild and watch the sunset. To top it all off, you finish your tour with some complimentary wine punch. Yes, please.
Day 23 - Overnight bus to Airlie beach
Today is yours free to explore 1770. This place is a real beach haven so you guessed it, we're suggesting you hit the waves! Tonight, pack your bags as you board your overnight bus to iconic Airlie Beach.
Day 24 - Arrive Airlie Beach/Airlie Beach
Arrive bright and early in Airlie and check into your hostel for 2 nights. Today is yours free to Airlie this tropical paradise. Tonight, you can find out for yourself by Airlie nightlife is just so famous...
Day 25 - 2 day/2 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure
Don't forget your camera because today you're leaving on your Whitsundays adventure! This afternoon you will depart from Abell Point Marina where you'll hop on board your boat and be taken to your exclusive Whitsundays Resort. Settle down for a delicious dinner overlooking the iconic landscape of the Whitsundays and get some rest because tomorrow is a big one!
Day 26 - 2 day/2 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure
Wake up and head down to the main house for a continental breakfast and fruit salad before packing your dry bag and heading off on a Whitsunday Adventure! First stop is Whitehaven Beach and the amazing Hill Inlet Lookout. Once you’ve taken those lifetime pictures at the Hill Inlets you can stroll down to the silica sand and do some exploring. You'll then be taken to Mantaray Bay for an exciting snorkel amongst 100s of fish! Head back to the resort for a well-deserved spa and relax as your crew cook you another delicious dinner.
Day 27 - 2 day/2 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure - Overnight Airlie Beach
The boat will pick you up at the beach again before a refreshing morning race with the wind in your hair across the Whitsunday passage to Langford Sandbar. Here the boat will deposit you on the beach so you can enjoy a few hours of snorkelling with the resident turtles, or chillaxing on the beach. Soaking up your last bit of sun and enjoying morning tea. The ride home takes about 45 minutes, allowing you time to stare out across the islands and reflect on the last couple of day’s amazing adventures.
Day 28 - Bus to Townsville, ferry to Magnetic Island/Overnight Magnetic Island
You may be leaving Airlie Beach, but the tropical paradise doesn't stop there! Make your way to Townsville where you will catch a ferry over to the magical Magnetic Island. Settle into your beachside hostel where you will stay for 2 nights and then why not hit the beach.
Day 29 - Free day - Magnetic Island
Today is yours free to explore. There's plenty to do on the island, but our personal favourite is to do nothing...kick back and relax. Once you soak in the views of the aqua water and swaying palm trees, you'll know exactly what we're talking about.
Day 30 - Ferry to Townsville, bus to Cairns/Overnight Cairns
Check out of your hostel and board your ferry back to Townsville where you will continue onto the adventure capital of Australia - Cairns. Check into your hostel where you'll be staying for the next week and then head out to explore. As well as stunning views and being stuffed full of adventure activities, Cairns is also a huge party town so get ready for tonight. The best way to say hello to Cairns is to hit the town.
Day 31 - 1 Day Great Barrier Reef Cruise/Overnight Cairns
It's here. The day you've been waiting for. Today, you're heading out onto the big blue to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Today you get to explore 2 stunning reef sites; Upolu Cay and the 'Wonder Wall' on the Outer Edge of Upolu Reef. You're treated to 6 full hours exploring the reef with plenty of snorkelling and diving opportunities, awesome lunch and knowledgeable eco-guides.
Day 32 - 33 - 1 Day Cape Tribulation & Daintree Rainforest Tour/Overnight Cairns
Spend the day visiting the Oldest living Rainforest in the world! This tour will show all of the highlights that the Daintree and Cape Tribulation have to offer, you will even get to dine on Cape Trib Beach. Meet with one of the Indigenous owners of Mossman Gorge and learn about local traditions all while soaking in there stunning views of the surrounding rainforest! This evening you'll spend overnight in this stunning rainforest before continuing your tour. On the evening of day 33 you will return to Cairns and check back into your accommodation.
Day 34 - Free day - Cairns
Today you've got a full day free in Cairns and you're totally spoilt for choice. Get the blood pumping with some epic white water rafting, get the best views in time with a AJ Hackett bungy jump, or opt to go tame and cruise the city by bike. Whatever you're feeling, Cairns has it all!
Day 35 - 1 Day Waterfalls Tour / Overnight Cairns
Today you'll be treated to a waterfall tour - a MUST do for anyone wanting to experience the pristine rainforest, cascading waterfalls, stunning panoramas of Queensland’s highest peaks and maybe a glimpse of rare and unique native wildlife. You will explore countless waterfalls and rivers where you'll have the chance to spot incredible wildlife and more deep within these ancient forests. This afternoon you'll be transfered back to Cairns where you'll head back to your hostel.
Day 36 - 14000ft Skydive with Beach Landing!/Overnight Cairns
Today you're in for a treat! Offering Australia’s highest jump, paired with the most idyllic landing on shimmering sands of Mission Beach, this skydive is adrenaline packed with the views of the Great Barrier Reef, tropical Islands and Rainforest. Without a doubt Australia’s best drop zone and the unforgettable experience of your lifetime.
Day 37 - Check out, trip ends
This morning you will check out of your hostel where your trip will officially end. Don't cry! There's plenty more of Australia to explore.
