Itinerary

Day 1 : Remote Fraser Island Experience

The Remote K'gari (Fraser Island) Experience departs the Hervey Bay marina and cruise the Great Sandy Strait along the pristine shores of K'gari and spot dolphins, turtles, dugongs, birds and dingoes whilst enjoying a light morning tea. Transfer to the western side of World Heritage listed K'gari on an amphibious watercraft designed to drive right up onto the beach ensuring guests disembark dry and comfortable. Enjoy the crystal clear waters of Wathumba Creek with a range of activities including snorkelling with turtles, kayaking, tubing or beach walks. Following delicious buffet lunch served on the boat, the tour cruises to the picturesque location of Awinya or Bowarrady Creek on Fraser Island. Enjoy the amazing diverse natural surrounds whilst kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, walking, beach activities and other free water sports.

Departs: 8am from the Great Sandy Straits Marina in Hervey Bay.

Returns: approx. 5pm
