Day 2 - 1 Day Great Barrier Reef Cruise/Overnight Cairns
It's here. The day you've been waiting for. Today, you're heading out onto the big blue to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Today you get to explore 2 stunning reef sites; Upolu Cay and the 'Wonder Wall' on the Outer Edge of Upolu Reef. You're treated to 6 full hours exploring the reef with plenty of snorkelling and diving opportunities, awesome lunch and knowledgeable eco guides.
Day 3 - Bus to Airlie Beach/Overnight Airlie Beach
Tonight wave goodbye to Cairns and hello to the iconic coastal scenery at tropical hub - Airlie Beach. Check into your hostel, then drop your bags to head out and explore the town.
Day 4 - 2 day/2 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure
This tour offers time to explore the islands, including time to relax at the magnificent Whitehaven Beach, walk to famous Hill Inlet Lookout and experience two snorkelling stops on the fringing coral reefs which extend right from the edge of the islands. This itinerary will cover around 100kms around the islands and is achieved in this time due to the sailing performance and ability of your Maxi Yacht to sail faster than other charter yachts can go, even when they use a motor, which is also really friendly for the environment as we use wind power. You'll be fed well with afternoon tea, pre-dinner snacks and dinner today. Bring Your Own alcohol so long as it's not glass. Spend your first night of fun under the stars of the Southern Hemisphere.

Day 5 - 2 day/2 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure
Not only will you visit the famous Whitehaven Beach on this trip but you will also get to the Northern end of the Whitsundays where the best fringing coral reefs in the Whitsundays are found - namely Langford Reef and Mantaray Bay. For guests who want to be involved, help the crew set the sails, have a turn on the wheel and get some amazing sailing photos. The Captain and crew will provide you with plenty of information on the Whitsunday Islands and the Marine Park. Meals today include breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, pre-dinner snack AND dinner. Are you full yet?

Day 6 - 2 day/2 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure - Overnight Airlie
Wake up on your final morning to that clear sea air before it's time for more thrilling sailing back to Airlie Beach. Pass along the western coast of Whitsunday Island, through Hook Passage and follow the eastern coast of Hook Island, passing the Molle Islands allowing you further opportunity for snorkelling and swimming. Arrive back to Airlie Beach at approximately 11am.

Day 7 - Free day - Overnight bus to Rainbow Beach
Tonight you've got a free day to explore the city before packing your bags and heading off an overnight bus to Rainbow Beach.
Day 8 - Safety briefing for Fraser Island 4pm/Overnight Rainbow Beach
Today is yours free to explore Rainbow Beach. This afternoon you'll attend a compulsory safety briefing at 4pm to prepare you for your upcoming Fraser Island adventure!
Day 9 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Rise and shine, at 9.30am you depart for Fraser Island! Drive approx 10 minutes to the barge (ferry) and board for your 10 minute barge crossing. Once you have arrived on the world's biggest sand island, you then drive for 1 hour to the Eurong resort along 75 Mile beach - Fraser Island's own highway with speed limits! From here is when the big adventure begins as you drive to the famous Lake McKenzie - arguably the most popular and picturesque highlight of Fraser! Here, stop for some lunch, and for some quality time to have a play in the amazingly clear waters with your new found friends! Around 3pm you drive up the beach to your campsite, for an early dinner and some well-deserved drinks and fun!
Day 10 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Get up in the morning for a quick breakfast before you begin your busiest day on Fraser Island. First, head off to see Eli Creek, a beautifully clear creek perfect for a relaxing swim. Travelling north you then stop at Maheno shipwreck for some photos and short history lesson about this famous Fraser Island icon. Shortly after, travel up to Indian Head, Fraser Island's highest point. From here you may be lucky enough to see whales and sharks in the ocean, before you travel to Champagne pools for a dip! In the afternoon, travel back to camp for dinner and drinks.
Day 11 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour - Overnight Rainbow Beach
Start with breakfast, then drive to the beginning of the Lake Wabby walk, where you walk through the sand dunes to this tropical paradise! Lunch follows your trip to Lake Wabby, before you begin your drive down the beach heading back to the barge. Once back on the mainland, head back to the 4WD shed where you unpack and quickly clean the cars. Tonight, enjoy a well-deserved rest in Rainbow Beach before checking out in the morning.
Day 12 - Bus to Brisbane/Overnight Brisbane
Pack your stuff, you’re off to Brisbane today. Check into your lively hostel where you'll be staying for 1 night then head out to explore. Brisbane is affectionately called BrisVegas by the locals and you'll soon find out why. It's the perfect mix of relaxed summer vibes meet bit city chic. Head out to Queen Street Wall, explore South Bank or cycle through Newfarm Park. Tonight, what better way to get acquainted with the city then heading out for a big night in Fortitude Valley.
Day 13 - Bus to Byron Bay/Overnight Byron Bay
Wave goodbye to Brissy and hello to Byron! Check into your hostel where you'll be spending the next 2 nights then drop you bags and get out there to explore the town.
Day 14 - 1 Day Nimbin Tour/Overnight Byron Bay
Today you're off for a real local experience - hippy central Nimbin. This tour is all about venturing into village vibes so bring out the hippie colours to explore Nimbin and the incredible surrounding Byron Bay hinterland. Spend the morning meeting dreadlocked locals and exploring the colourful street before a fun-filled afternoon of waterfall hopping. This afternoon, head back to Byron Bay for a well deserved beer on the beach.
Day 15 - Surf Lesson/Overnight bus to Sydney
Rise and shine! Today you'll be learning to surf like the pros. Tonight you'll board your overnight bus to Sydney.
Day 16 - Arrive in Sydney morning
Arrive in Sydney bright and early where your trip will officially come to an end. Don't cry though! There's plenty more of Australia to explore.
